Shelburne Family Session

This was a casual family get together, I tried to tell a story of the family with
casual groupings, candids and a focus on the location.
You can't always pick the best time of day due to other logistics and concerns,
so I try to complement the various elements like lighting and backgrounds with
the real world situation that exists.
As you may be able to discern, the children aren't always in a cooperative mood!
With over 20 years of experience photographing children and coaxing their best
performance; it is truly one of the challenges I am passionate about in
my photography.

Tell a Story!

Many of my clients have me go to them and photograph a "lifestyle" story.
A combination of posed portraits, yet still natural looking and a journalistic
style capturing the family in many different settings and spontaneous moments
results in a few larger portraits that can be hung on the wall and a decent
mix of portraits and candids that can be scrapbooked.
